Hearty Chicken and Vegetable Stew

White cabbage 100 g

How to make vegetable stew with chicken? Take the products from the list. You can add your own vegetables. Almost anything goes well in this stew, including frozen mixed vegetables. Instead of green peas, you can use green beans, fresh or canned.

Wash the vegetables well and dry. Clean (you can wash and dry again). Cut the onions into strips or half rings.

Cut the potatoes into cubes.

Cut the carrots into similar cubes. Although it can also be cut into strips or even grated, if you prefer.

Chop the white cabbage into strips. You can use broccoli or Brussels sprouts instead.

Also cut the chicken meat into pieces equal in size to cutting vegetables. If you do this, the stew will look more beautiful.

Fry all the ingredients in a saucepan in hot oil: first put the onion, add carrots and potatoes, then the cabbage, simmer under the lid until the cabbage softens.

Now add chicken meat, stir and add salt. At the very end, add green peas. Simmer until it is ready — about 5 minutes. You can cover the saucepan with a lid. I recommend not leaving the stove, keeping an eye on the dish and checking its readiness.
