Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make an omelet in the microwave for a child? Prepare your food. For one serving you need exactly 2 eggs, since in the microwave the omelette turns out to be slightly smaller than with traditional preparation. You can change the amount of water and milk at your discretion, increase or decrease, cook only with water or only with milk. An omelet made with 10% cream turns out very tasty.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the eggs well and dry. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat the eggs into a bowl. Add salt to taste.

Step 3

Step 3
Lightly beat the eggs with a hand whisk or a regular fork.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour water and milk into the egg mixture. Whisk, this time thoroughly, all the ingredients for the omelette. You should get a homogeneous fluffy mass. If stirred poorly, hard pieces of unmixed protein may remain in the omelette.

Step 5

Step 5
Use suitable utensils for microwave cooking. Pour the egg mixture into it. From my own experience, I was convinced that you don’t need to pour it all the way to the top — the omelette needs space to rise.

Step 6

Step 6
Cover the dish with a plate and place in the microwave. Cook the omelet on high for 3 to 5 minutes. At 750W, my omelette was ready in 3.5 minutes. Take it out of the microwave. Be careful, the dishes will be very hot!

Step 7

Step 7
Serve the omelette to the table. You can use the same container in which you cooked, waiting until it cools down. A small amount of water will release during cooking, this is normal — just drain it. Bon appetit!
