Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make dough for pies using water without yeast? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. Donʼt skip this step. The sifted flour is enriched with oxygen, combines better with the liquid ingredients, and makes the finished dough more airy. Heat the water until warm.. My eggs are category C1.

Step 2

Step 2
To prepare the dough, take a comfortable spacious bowl and pour about 2/3 of the flour into it. Do not add all the flour at once, since the quantity, depending on its properties, as well as the size of the eggs, may differ slightly from the specified amount. Leave a little flour to further adjust the consistency of the finished dough. Read more about flour in the article at the link at the end of the recipe. Add salt and sugar to flour.

Step 3

Step 3
Make a small well in the center of the flour and crack the eggs. Then pour in vegetable oil.

Step 4

Step 4
Then pour in warm water and start kneading the dough.

Step 5

Step 5
It is convenient to use a wooden spatula at the beginning of kneading. Gradually the dough will begin to form a ball. If necessary, add a little more flour and continue kneading the dough with your hands.

Step 6

Step 6
The finished dough is soft and does not stick to your hands. Form it into a ball, cover with a lid and leave to rest for 10-20 minutes so that it can rest a little. During this time, gluten will develop in the flour, making the dough more elastic and pliable.

Step 7

Step 7
Knead the rested dough a little more and you can start making the pies. Take any filling to your taste. The dough sticks together beautifully. Form small pies from the finished dough and fry them over low heat on all sides... or bake in the oven!
