How to make lean and vegetarian vegetable cabbage rolls with rice without meat? Letʼs prepare all the necessary ingredients for making vegetable cabbage rolls. Take a thick, not large forkful of cabbage with clean leaves. The remaining vegetables should also be without signs of spoilage.

Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water is clear. Place the rice in a saucepan, add 1:2 water and place on medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook the rice over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until half cooked. Place it on a sieve, rinse and let the water drain completely.

While the rice is standing, letʼs do the cabbage. Wash the head of cabbage thoroughly and carefully remove 8-9 leaves. Place in a saucepan with water and boil in salted water until soft. This will take approximately 3-4 minutes. If you make a lot of cabbage rolls, then you can go another way. To do this, we put the cabbage in the microwave and cook at the highest power for 5 minutes. Remove the soft leaves and continue to cook in the microwave until all the leaves are removed.

Peel the onion, rinse and finely chop. Pour oil into a frying pan and add onion.

Peel the carrots, wash them and grate them on a coarse grater. Add to the pan with the chopped onion.

Wash the bell pepper, remove the stem and seeds, and cut into cubes. Add to the pan with vegetables.
