Creamy Baked Mushrooms with Cheese

Fragrant, tender, creamy, very tasty! Mushrooms baked in sour cream in a pot with cheese are very similar to the famous julienne, only they are prepared much faster and easier. This dish can be served on its own, as a hot appetizer, or with a side dish, as a main dish.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake mushrooms in sour cream in a pot with cheese? Prepare your food. Any mushrooms will do; I have champignons — it will work the fastest with them. Use sour cream of any fat content, the main thing is that it is natural, without vegetable additives.

Step 2

Step 2
Carefully wash the champignons to remove dirt. Do not wet them too much — once saturated with moisture, the mushrooms become watery and not tasty. Dry clean champignons with paper towels. Cut them into large pieces, since heat treatment greatly reduces the size of the mushrooms. After cleaning, boil wild mushrooms depending on the variety.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour vegetable oil into it (you can use butter instead of vegetable oil). Place the mushrooms and salt them. Fry the champignons, stirring, for 10 minutes. Fry wild mushrooms longer, depending on the variety.

Step 4

Step 4
While the mushrooms are frying, prepare the sour cream sauce. Mix flour with sour cream until smooth. Dilute the resulting mixture with boiling water, pouring it little by little until the desired consistency (like pancake batter). Salt the sauce to taste.

Step 5

Step 5
Take a baking pot. I have a volume of 0.5 l. Transfer the mushrooms from the frying pan into it. Pepper it. Pour in sour cream sauce. Cover with a lid. Place the pot in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
At this time, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 7

Step 7
After time has passed, remove the pot, but do not turn off the oven. Remove the lid and sprinkle cheese on top of the dish.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the pot back into the oven. Wait for the cheese to melt. This will take another 7-10 minutes. Then remove the dish and cool slightly.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
