Water 1 l
Allspice 3 pc
Bay leaf 3 pc
Salt 4 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Peppercorns 12 pc
Mustard 1 tsp
Cilantro, coriander 1 tsp

How to make spicy salted herring at home? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Rinse the herring in running water, remove the insides, and rinse again. If the fish contains caviar, then save it, as we will also salt it.

Pour clean water into a saucepan or saucepan; tap water can give an unpleasant taste. Add bay leaf, allspice and peppercorns, mustard seeds, coriander, salt and sugar to the saucepan. Bring the water to a boil and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir the brine until all the grains of salt and sugar dissolve in it. Remove the saucepan from the heat. You can change and add spices as you wish.
