Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry fresh champignons in a frying pan with onions? Prepare all the necessary products. You can use any oil, I use unrefined corn oil. Instead of onions, you can use leeks. It will give a more subtle and refined taste to the dish. You can also add any spices to your taste. A slight creamy note can be added to the overall taste of the dish if you add a little good quality butter along with the vegetable oil.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the champignons thoroughly, cut off the dark spots with a sharp knife and refresh the cut of each mushroom. Dry the champignons with a towel, cut into slices of any shape and size. The main thing is not to grind it too much. I like to cut the mushrooms into slices, whole, over the entire area of the mushroom or in half if the mushroom is large.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add peeled and finely diced onions. Stirring occasionally, fry until soft and translucent. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
Add chopped champignons to the onion in the frying pan and stir. Also, stirring, fry the mushrooms and onions over medium heat until all the juice has evaporated and the mushrooms begin to brown. There is no need to fry the champignons too much so that they don’t end up too dry.

Step 5
Fried champignons with onions in a frying pan are ready! You can serve them either freshly prepared or chilled. Bon appetit!
