Slow Cooker Cabbage and Mushrooms

The simplest recipe for a hearty dish — it will be tasty and healthy. Cabbage with mushrooms is both an independent dish and a side dish for meat or fish, and even as a cold or cold appetizer. An excellent alternative to meat dishes during Lent. Anyone who likes to eat healthily or fast will rejoice at it. If you do not add oil, the dish will be much healthier and not so dangerous for your figure. It is appropriate both in the everyday menu and in the holiday menu (even on fasting days).

Tomato paste 50 g
Carrot 70 g
Vegetable oil 30 ml
Champignon 150 g
Cabbage 200 g
Vegetable broth 0.5 cup

How to stew cabbage with mushrooms in a slow cooker? Finely chop the washed and dried cabbage for stewing. The finished dish will be tender and juicy.

Onions, peeled and washed under the tap, cut in any convenient way.

Carrots are another basic ingredient in cabbage with mushrooms. Chop it neither coarse nor fine.

Well, mushrooms. Forest mushrooms are a rarity and an expensive product, but champignons are almost always at hand. Chop them so that they are visible in the cabbage.

Turn on the multicooker, setting the “stew” mode that is relevant for this method of preparing cabbage. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and add vegetables. Bow first.

Cooking time may vary and depends on the characteristics of the products you use (champignons and young cabbage will cook faster, wild mushrooms and sauerkraut will take longer), on average it will take 30-40 minutes to cook. Do not open the multicooker immediately, but 5-7 minutes after turning it off.
