How to cook boiled-frozen shrimp? Prepare the necessary ingredients. The shrimp should be approximately the same size, whole, the ice coat should not be thick, otherwise the shrimp will lose a lot of weight during the defrosting process. Typically, shrimp on sale are already pre-boiled, so they cook quite quickly.

Pour water into a suitable sized saucepan and place on fire. For 1 kilogram of shrimp you will need at least 2 liters of water. Rinse the shrimp under warm water to get rid of excess dirt, broken antennae and legs, as well as ice.

When the water boils, add an umbrella of dried dill to the water. Instead of an umbrella, you can take fresh dill, seeds, or not use it at all.

Add salt. You will need quite a lot of it — 40-45 g per 1 liter of water.

Add spices to taste. Cloves, black and allspice are perfect.

When the water with spices boils, add the prepared shrimp to the pan and bring to a boil again.

Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes. The meat of crustaceans is very tender and, if overcooked, it will turn out to be tough.
