Very tasty, very simple, very easy, for every day! Fried potatoes with champignons and onions are loved by many for a reason. This is an unusually tasty, aromatic, but at the same time simple dish that can be varied in different ways. Season it with any spices, complement it with salad and sauces!

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Potato 6 pc
Vegetable oil (For frying) 30 g
Champignon 150 g
Dry spices to taste

How to fry potatoes with champignons and onions in a frying pan? Prepare all products according to the list. Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into thin quarters or half rings. Peel the champignons, rinse well (necessarily under running water) if they are dirty, or wipe with a wet cloth if you bought almost clean mushrooms and cut into slices of the desired size and shape.

Wash the potatoes, dry, peel and cut into strips. Rinse the cut strips in water. Then drain in a colander and let the water drain well. When washing potatoes in this way, excess starch is washed off from them and therefore, when frying, they turn out more beautiful and neat. It is more crumbly, and individual slices do not stick to each other.

Heat the pan until hot. Pour some vegetable oil into it and add chopped onions. Fry it until transparent, stirring with a spatula.

Then add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and fry everything for 3-6 minutes, stirring, until the color changes slightly.

Place the washed potatoes in a frying pan with the mushrooms, mix everything well and cook over medium heat for 10-20 minutes. Focus on your stove. Stir the dish periodically so that nothing burns. If you want the potatoes to have a crispy crust, then you do not need to close the lid of the pan when frying.

Towards the end of cooking, add a little salt and dry spices to the potatoes to taste. I use dried dill as dry spices, but you can use something else to suit your taste.
