Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make sandwiches with sprats and fresh cucumber? Prepare your ingredients. In general, any bread will do — both white and black, I always make it with a black hearth. You can use your favorite one, it will still be delicious. Buy high-quality, large sprats from a trusted manufacturer.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the fresh hearth loaf into thin pieces. You can make sandwiches on bread, dried or fried in vegetable oil in a frying pan. The taste of the sandwiches will be new and different in each case. I cook without prepping the bread. Spread the pieces with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

Step 3

Step 3
Boil chicken eggs first. Cool them, peel and chop them. It’s better to do this with a knife so that the pieces are quite large — this will make the appetizer more impressive than just a homogeneous paste of boiled eggs. Sprinkle chopped eggs on top of the bread.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash fresh cucumbers and cut into thin circles or slices, as you like. Wash the dill and onion, dry and finely chop. It is more beautiful to cut green onions diagonally.

Step 5

Step 5
Sprinkle the sandwiches with chopped onion and dill.

Step 6

Step 6
Place sprats on each piece — if they are large, then one piece at a time, if small, then you can have several fish per sandwich. Place cucumber slices under the sprats. Serve the sandwiches immediately. You cannot leave the finished sandwiches for a long time before serving, otherwise the greens and cucumbers will wither, dry out and turn pale, and the snack will lose its “presentable” appearance. Bon appetit!
