Basic:

Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tbsp
Wheat flour 2 cup
Butter 100 g
Water 3 tbsp
Sour cream 1 tbsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare chopped dough, prepare the necessary products for this: premium wheat flour, butter, ice water, a little salt and granulated sugar. This is the required minimum of products. If desired, you can add sour cream or soft cottage cheese to the dough, as in this case. Depending on the further purpose, a little more granulated sugar is added to the dough or the amount of salt is adjusted.

Step 2

Step 2
Sift the flour into a large bowl, add fine salt and granulated sugar.

Step 3

Step 3
Add butter (use good, natural, high quality butter) and cut the dough into crumbs. This can be done in any way: by placing all the products in the bowl of a food processor, grinding by hand, chopping with a knife, rolling out on the table with a rolling pin,... One way or another, you should get a fine, homogeneous crumb of flour and butter.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sour cream to the crumbs and stir. Now gradually add ice water and knead the dough until it has a homogeneous structure. The finished dough should not stick to your hands. Form the resulting dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour. The dough is ready for further use!
