Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry dumplings in vegetable oil? Prepare your food. You can buy dumplings either purchased or made yourself. They must be frozen — then when frying, the dumplings will not stick to the pan. Remove them from the freezer just before cooking.

Step 2

Step 2
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Pour vegetable oil on it for frying. Carefully place the dumplings. Be careful not to burn yourself — the ice crystals on the surface of the frozen dumplings will begin to melt, causing the oil to splatter. The dumplings should be placed in one row so that they are fried well.

Step 3

Step 3
Fry the dumplings, shaking the pan slightly to prevent them from sticking. When the dough is browned on one side, turn the dumplings over to the other side. It is convenient to do this with a fork. At the same time, boil the water.

Step 4

Step 4
Turn off the heat under the pan. This must be done to prevent strong splashing when pouring water into hot oil. Carefully pour boiling water into the pan. Turn the heat back on. Salt and pepper to taste. I also like to add bay leaf.

Step 5

Step 5
Reduce heat, cover the pan with a lid and cook the dumplings until the water boils away. This will take 7-10 minutes, depending on the size of the dumplings.

Step 6

Step 6
Serve the dumplings immediately. Sour cream, mayonnaise or tomato sauce go well with them. Bon appetit!
