Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Tomatoes (large) 3 pc
Olive oil 5 g
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Dill (fresh, for decoration) to taste
Ham (or smoked meat) 50 g
cucumbers (fresh) 1 pc
Brynza (or soft cheese) 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
You need to prepare the food: wash the vegetables, dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut feta cheese or soft cheese into semicircular slices. Cut ham or smoked meat into long thin strips. Cut a piece of cucumber with peel into the same cubes.

Step 3

Step 3
Make four cuts in the form of a square on the tomato, insert slices of cheese into them — this will be the bottom layer of “rose petals” (see photo).

Step 4

Step 4
Now also make four cuts just above the lower petals and also insert a slice of cheese or feta cheese into them.

Step 5

Step 5
In the upper part of the tomato — in a square — make several deep punctures and stick the “pistils and stamens” of cucumber and ham into them.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the finished tomato “roses” on a dish, garnish with “leaves” cut out from the cucumber, as well as sprigs of dill. Season the appetizer of tomatoes, cheese, ham and cucumber with salt and pepper, lightly drizzle with olive oil and serve the “bouquet of roses” to the table. Bon appetit! Happy March 8th!
