Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make the simplest pizza dough without yeast? Prepare all ingredients. Boil water and cool to room temperature. If desired, instead of boiled water, you can take filtered water, milk, kefir or whey. In Italy, durum wheat flour is used for pizza. If you donʼt have one, try to buy one that is unbleached and has a high gluten content. Both the quality of the dough and the taste of the finished pizza will depend on this.

Step 2

Step 2
Sift the wheat flour into a deep bowl. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. Read more about the properties of flour in a separate article at the end of this recipe.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat the chicken eggs into a separate bowl, add salt and beat them with a fork or whisk until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency, the white of the chicken egg should be completely dispersed and mixed with the yolk. Add water there and stir until smooth.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour the egg mixture and vegetable oil into a bowl with flour (you can make a depression and pour everything into the formed hole) and knead the dough, first with a spoon, then with your hands, so that it is homogeneous in consistency. If required, you can add a little sifted wheat flour.

Step 5

Step 5
Turn the dough out onto a floured work surface and continue kneading it with your hands, adding more flour if necessary. The dough should be elastic and smooth, quite dense, but amenable to rolling into a thin layer (about 5 mm).

Step 6

Step 6
The dough is ready. You can move on to preparing the pizza toppings and baking or frying them. This dough is better suited for making pizza in a frying pan, but you can also make delicious homemade pizza with this dough in the oven. Baking time will vary in different ovens. Read more about ovens in the article below the steps. Bon appetit!
