Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make an omelette with mushrooms? Prepare your food. I made an omelet with wild mushrooms. Peel, chop and boil fresh wild mushrooms in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Then drain them in a colander and let the water drain. You can do this process the day before. You can also freeze boiled mushrooms, and then simply defrost the required amount as needed. The champignons are easy to wash.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat a frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil and fry the chopped onion until transparent. Keep the heat low so the onions donʼt burn.

Step 4

Step 4
Add boiled mushrooms to the pan. Fry everything together for 5-7 minutes over medium heat, stirring so that excess liquid evaporates.

Step 5

Step 5
In a separate bowl, mix eggs, cream, salt and some spices. Choose spices according to taste or availability.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix everything with a whisk until smooth.

Step 7

Step 7
Then pour the egg mixture over the mushrooms and cover the pan with a lid. At this stage, you can add fresh, finely chopped herbs to the omelette. Turn the heat down to low and cook the omelette like this for about 10 minutes. The eggs should thicken completely and there should be no liquid areas left. Serve the finished omelette with mushrooms to the table immediately. Bon appetit!
