Prepare the ingredients. To prepare a side dish of boiled rice with canned corn we will need: rice (preferably long grain, preferably steamed); can of canned corn; salt and water.

Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water. Then drain in a colander and dry.

Place rice in a saucepan. Fill with cold water so that the water level is slightly higher than the level of the rice. Add salt to the pan.

Place the pan over low heat, cover with a lid, leaving a small crack for steam to escape.

Cook the rice for about 15 minutes until cooked and the liquid has completely evaporated.

Place the canned corn in a colander and let the liquid drain. Dry the grains. Add canned corn to the pan with the cooked rice and stir.
