Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry chicken breast in egg and breadcrumbs in a frying pan? Prepare all ingredients. Chicken breast is best used chilled. If you have frozen meat, then defrost it first. Read about all the intricacies of proper defrosting in the article at the link at the end of the recipe. Rinse the meat. If necessary, remove the bones and cut the flesh into small portions about 1 cm thick. Rinse the meat again and dry with paper towels.

Step 2

Step 2
Beat each piece of chicken fillet with a kitchen hammer on both sides. To prevent meat from splashing across the table, you can first put it in a bag or wrap it in cling film. Rub the chopped meat with spices: ground black pepper, paprika, you can use ready-made seasoning for chicken.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat an egg into a deep bowl and add a pinch of salt. Using a fork or whisk, beat the egg until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency. The formation of foam is not necessary, the main thing is that the egg is completely separated.

Step 4

Step 4
Place breadcrumbs or wheat flour into a plate. With breadcrumbs, a more appetizing and crispy crust forms on the meat. Dip each piece of chicken first into the egg mixture and then roll in breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Read about how to choose the perfect frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe. Place the fillet on the heated oil. Fry the meat over high heat for about 5 minutes on each side until a crust forms. Then reduce the heat to medium, cover the pan with a lid and keep the meat on the fire for another 5 minutes so that it is well cooked inside.

Step 6

Step 6
Remove the chicken breasts from the pan to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil, then transfer to a serving platter. Chicken breasts can be served with any side dish to your taste; boiled rice, mashed potatoes, buckwheat, and stewed vegetables are perfect. Or you can simply serve it with fresh vegetables or a fresh vegetable salad. Bon appetit!
