Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake dorado fish in foil with lemon? Prepare the necessary ingredients. When using a ready-made spice mixture, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. Often such mixtures already contain salt and pepper, take this into account, otherwise you risk oversalting and peppering the dish. Rinse the greens and shake off the water.

Step 2

Step 2
Gut the fish, remove the gills, remove scales and rinse thoroughly in running water.

Step 3

Step 3
Brush the fish inside and out with lemon juice, sprinkle with fish spices, salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes. If you are worried that the fish will turn out too sour, you can remove the lemon juice from the composition, or do not lubricate the inside of the carcass with it, but only pour it on the outside.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the onion and lemon halves into thin slices. You can replace the onion with a red one, and the lemon with lime.

Step 5

Step 5
Place onion rings on a sheet of foil. Place the fish on top.

Step 6

Step 6
Stuff it with lemon slices. Arrange the remaining lemon wedges, thyme sprigs and cilantro (or parsley) around the fish.

Step 7

Step 7
Wrap the fish in foil, bringing the edges up to prevent fish juice from leaking out.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the resulting envelope on a baking sheet. Place the fish in an oven preheated to 190°C and bake for about 35 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven. If desired, you can unwrap the foil and bake the fish under the grill for another 10 minutes. Bon appetit!
