Potato 450 g
Tomato paste 65 g
Carrot 90 g
White cabbage 570 g
Bulb onions 120 g
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

How to stew cabbage and potatoes in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary products. Choose juicy white cabbage. Take crumbly potatoes. If desired, you can add your favorite spices.

Peel the onions and cut into small cubes. Wash the carrots with a brush under running water and grate on a coarse grater. Heat 1 tbsp in a frying pan. spoon of vegetable oil and add chopped vegetables. Stirring, fry over medium heat until the vegetables are soft, 3-5 minutes.

Peel the white cabbage from the top dirty leaves. Chop finely and add to the frying pan with the fried vegetables, mix everything carefully. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Stir the cabbage periodically using a spatula or tablespoon. The cabbage should be softened and almost completely cooked. If the cabbage is not very juicy, you can add a little water or vegetable broth to the pan.

Rinse the potatoes with a brush in running water, peel them and cut into medium-sized slices. Add to the pan with the vegetables. Season with salt, add ground black pepper and stir. Simmer covered for another 15-20 minutes, the potatoes should become soft. Again, you can add a little liquid if the vegetables do not release enough juice for the braising process.
