Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry an egg in a bun? Prepare all the necessary products. Take home-made eggs, or at least CO — such eggs are not only large, but also have a beautiful bright yolk — and your dish will turn out much more beautiful. Toast bread, square shaped, is preferable. But, of course, if such bread is not available, an ordinary white loaf will do. If you cut the pieces of bread yourself, the optimal thickness is about 1 cm. Don’t take too thick ones.

Step 2

Step 2
Slice the bread or use already sliced pieces of bread. By the way, I recommend not using fresh, soft bread to prepare this dish — it will crumble when slicing. Cut out circles in the center. This can be done using a small glass or simply cutting out a circle with a knife.

Step 3

Step 3
In the frying pan where you will cook the dishes, heat the vegetable oil. It doesn’t matter what plant it was made from: corn or sunflower, but if you are going to fry something in oil, you must always take refined oils — otherwise they will burn in the pan. Lay out the pieces of bread.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the eggs well — this is a must, because eggshells contain a huge amount of bacteria. Therefore, wash the eggs carefully with hot water using food-grade detergent and a special brush. Gently beat the egg into the cut out circle so that the yolk remains intact. I would like to note that it is best to use small eggs for this dish, because... There is not much room in the bread and if the egg is large, the white will leak out.

Step 5

Step 5
Salt the eggs a little. According to your taste, you can pepper them or add some of your favorite herbs or seasonings: ground paprika, herbes de Provence, garlic powder. Or maybe you decide to sprinkle the dish with chopped fresh herbs: dill, parsley and green onions will be very useful.

Step 6

Step 6
Cook the dish over low heat until the desired yolk density, preferably covered with a lid. Approximate time 7-10 minutes. Bon appetit!
