Basic:

Onion 3 pc
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Carrot 3 pc
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
Pollock 1 kg

How to make pollock under carrots in the oven? Prepare all the indicated ingredients. Wash and peel the vegetables. Instead of tomato sauce, you can use tomatoes in their own juice.

Defrost the pollock. Read all about proper defrosting in the article at the end of this recipe. Wash the fish, clean it, cut off the fins and tail. Cut into portions. Prepare a baking dish and place the fish in it. Add salt and pepper, stir. If you wish, you can add your favorite spices to taste.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onions and carrots over medium heat until they become soft.

Add tomatoes, stir, salt and pepper. Simmer everything together for another 3-4 minutes.

Place stewed vegetables on top of the fish. Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for about 30-40 minutes.
