Thin Blue Cheese, Mozzarella, and Pear Pizza

An unusual combination of savory cheese and sweet pear! You might be a little surprised when you read the recipe for this pizza with blue cheese, mozzarella and pears — there is no tomato or sausage on it. But, nevertheless, this is a very common type of dessert pizza. It successfully combines sweet and salty flavors, crispy and tender textures!

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Letʼs prepare the products. The flour must be sifted first. Take the mozzarella that is for pizza, it comes in a large block, not in balls. I use regular vegetable oil. It is better to take hard pears. Add nuts as desired.

Step 2

Step 2
Dissolve yeast and salt in warm water at a temperature of about 40 degrees. Do not use too hot water, yeast is a living organism, it may die.

Step 3

Step 3
We take flour and, gradually adding water and oil to it, begin to knead the dough. You can do this by hand, or use a mixer. Knead until smooth. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and put it in a warm place without drafts for half an hour. I usually use the oven. Only not on, but cold. After half an hour, knead the dough and leave for another half hour.

Step 4

Step 4
The finished dough should double in size. Roll it into the desired shape, mine is a circle.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the dough on parchment paper on a baking sheet. Lubricate with oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the mozzarella cut into slices.

Step 7

Step 7
Top it with a pear, cut into thin slices.

Step 8

Step 8
Place pieces of gorgonzola on top.

Step 9

Step 9
And, if desired, throw in a handful of walnuts.

Step 10

Step 10
Bake the pizza in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for about 20 minutes. My pizza took about 25 to bake, I was guided by appearance. Bon appetit!
