Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Beef (pulp) 300 g
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
bell pepper 1 pc
cucumbers 1 pc
Sesame 1 tsp
Soy sauce 4 tbsp
Cherry tomatoes (or other small tomatoes) 200 g
Lettuce leaves (mixture, iceberg, friese, radicchio) 150 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make beef and sesame salad? To prepare a salad with fried beef, prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to take tomatoes of small diameter, cherry or Baku tomatoes are suitable for this (they are as round as cherry tomatoes, but one and a half times larger), plum tomatoes are also suitable. You can take regular large ones, but with small ones the salad looks more interesting. Wash and dry all vegetables and herbs.

Step 2

Step 2
First, prepare the meat. Rinse the beef and dry it. Cut off all films and veins, if any. Cut the meat into small portions.

Step 3

Step 3
Place beef in a bowl. Pour in soy sauce and vegetable oil. Stir and leave to marinate for 30-40 minutes. You can mix soy sauce and vegetable oil in a bowl in advance. Thanks to this marinating, the meat becomes less tough. In this case, soy sauce completely replaces salt, so there is no need to add additional salt to meat and salad.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into slices.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the bell pepper from seeds and cut into strips.

Step 6

Step 6
Cut the cucumbers into slices. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.

Step 7

Step 7
Heat a dry frying pan over high heat. Place the pieces of beef and fry the meat until golden brown. Then turn the pieces over to the other side and fry until golden brown. By frying over high heat, the juices are quickly sealed into the meat and the beef will retain its juiciness.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the remaining beef marinade into the pan, reduce the heat to medium and simmer the meat in the sauce for about 10-15 minutes under the lid until cooked. ! The sauce that remains after frying the beef will serve as a salad dressing. Therefore, if there is little sauce left in the pan, pour in another 2-3 tbsp. l. (or more) soy sauce and vegetable oil and simmer the meat a little more.

Step 9

Step 9
Place lettuce leaves, chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers on a plate. Place the hot pieces of seared beef straight from the pan on top.

Step 10

Step 10
Pour the sauce remaining in the pan from the beef over the salad, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately. Bon appetit!
