Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a bright puff salad Loverʼs Kiss? Simple enough. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can use beets boiled or baked in the oven. Stores sell ready-boiled beets in vacuum packaging. Using store-bought beets will save you cooking time.

Step 2

Step 2
Boil or bake the beets in their skins until tender, cool and peel. Grate on a fine grater. If the beets have a lot of juice, squeeze them out, otherwise your salad will run dry.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the raw carrots and grate them on a fine grater. If the carrots have a lot of juice, also squeeze out excess moisture. You can use carrots not raw, but boiled or baked.

Step 4

Step 4
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. What cheese is suitable for this salad? Any — hard, semi-solid. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes. I have regular Russian cheese.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash dried apricots and prunes and dry. Cut dried apricots and prunes into small cubes. If dried fruits are hard, steam them first. How to steam dried fruits correctly? Rinse them well, fill them with hot water and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then drain the water and dry the dried fruits with paper towels.

Step 6

Step 6
Rinse the raisins and dry. If your raisins are very dry and hard, steam them in the same way as dried apricots and prunes.

Step 7

Step 7
Finely chop the walnuts.

Step 8

Step 8
Peel the garlic and chop finely. You can use more garlic according to your taste.

Step 9

Step 9
In a bowl, combine grated carrots, raisins and 1-2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise. If desired, add salt and pepper to the mixture and stir.

Step 10

Step 10
In another bowl, mix grated cheese, dried apricots, garlic and 1-2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise.

Step 11

Step 11
In a third bowl, combine grated beets, prunes and a little mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper if desired. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 12

Step 12
First place a layer of carrots and raisins in a cooking ring (Ø 14-16 cm) and smooth it out. Do not press too hard on the carrot layer, otherwise the juice will come out of it.

Step 13

Step 13
Spread a layer of cheese with dried apricots on top and compact it as well.

Step 14

Step 14
Then a layer of beets with prunes.

Step 15

Step 15
Top the salad with chopped walnuts. If you wish, you can put the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, but this is not necessary — after all, all the ingredients are grated on a fine grater and are already well soaked in mayonnaise. Moreover, you should not keep the salad in the refrigerator for a long time — juice may come out of the vegetables, which will have to be blotted with a napkin.

Step 16

Step 16
Remove the ring before serving. Decorate the salad as desired. I garnished with carrot slices, fresh herbs and nuts. Bon appetit!
