How to make beet salad with cheese and garlic? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use beets not only boiled, but also baked in the oven. Stores sell ready-boiled beets in vacuum packaging. Using store-bought beets will save you cooking time.

Pre-boil the beets in boiling water until tender, or wrap in foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 1 hour. Cool the finished beets, peel them and grate them on a coarse grater or a Korean carrot grater.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. What cheese is suitable for this salad? Any — hard, semi-solid. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes. I have regular Russian cheese.

Now prepare the mayonnaise-garlic sauce. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic cloves passed through a press, ground black pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything thoroughly. You can replace fresh garlic with 1 tsp. dry. In addition to these spices, you can add your own to taste. Since the degree of saltiness, sweetness, bitterness, pungency, acidity, pungency is individual for everyone, always add spices, herbs and seasonings, focusing on your taste!

You can immediately mix all the ingredients together and serve in a salad bowl or form a salad in a ring. For a more festive option, you can form the salad in layers in a ring. Place a cooking ring (Ø 14-16 cm) on a plate. You can also take small portion rings with a diameter of 8-10 cm. Place part of the beets as the first layer and pour mayonnaise over it.

Repeat the beet and cheese layers one more time. The last layer should be beets. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to soak and cool.
