How to make a salad of smoked chicken, carrots, fresh cucumber? Prepare the necessary products. For the salad, you can use any part of smoked chicken: drumsticks, legs or breasts. Fresh cucumber can be replaced with salted or pickled one. Mayonnaise can be completely or partially replaced with sour cream, or you can make mayonnaise yourself. First wash the carrots and potatoes with a brush under running water. Place the vegetables in a saucepan, add water and cook at moderate boil until tender. How to check the readiness of vegetables? Pierce the vegetables with a knife. If they are soft, it means they are cooked. Remove the vegetables from the water and let them cool. Peel the vegetables. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.

Also cut the carrots into cubes.

Separate the chicken meat from the bones and cut into cubes.
