Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with stracciatella cheese and tomatoes? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. I used extra virgin olive oil, but you can use any vegetable oil you like. You can replace the stracciatella with buratta, which is similar in taste. Or replace it with other cheeses of your choice: mozzarella, feta cheese, feta, etc. Read about different types of cheeses in the article at the end of this recipe under the steps.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut cherry tomatoes into halves. You can use regular or cherry tomatoes. If you have a regular tomato, then cut it into slices. You need dense tomatoes. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the red onion and cut into rings or half rings, as you prefer. You can replace red onions with other types according to your taste: white, shallots, regular onions, etc.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the lettuce leaves and tear them into small pieces with your hands. You can take a ready-made salad mixture to your liking. You can complement the salad leaves with other greens: basil, parsley, dill, etc.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the lettuce in a deep plate. Scatter cherry tomatoes, olives, stracciatella and onions on top. In addition to the ingredients listed, you can add your own to taste. For example, bell pepper, fresh cucumber, etc. You can replace or supplement olives with olives. How to choose the right olives, read at the end of the recipe under the steps.

Step 6

Step 6
Sprinkle the salad with smoked paprika, ground pepper and salt, and pour olive oil. Serve the salad with tomatoes and stracciatella. Bon appetit!
