Chicken & Mushroom Salad Delight

Chicken fillet 300 g
Cherry tomatoes 100 g
Champignon 80 g
Hard cheese 80 g
Lettuce leaves 100 g

How to make a salad with chicken breast and champignons? Prepare your ingredients. You will need chicken fillet. If necessary, defrost the meat by transferring it to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator from the freezer in advance. Then rinse it, remove films and excess fat. It is best to take cherry tomatoes or dense, fleshy small fruits. When cut, soft tomatoes lose their shape and produce a lot of juice, which is bad for the appearance of the salad.

Sprinkle the fillets with herbs de Provence and salt to your liking.

Pour vegetable oil with a high smoking point into the frying pan and heat it up. Fry the fillet on both sides until done. A golden brown crust should form on top, the meat itself should be easily pierced with a knife, and the flowing juice should be clear.

Wash the tomatoes and cut into quarters.

Wash fresh champignons to remove soil and place on a kitchen towel. It is important to dry the mushrooms well, otherwise, once saturated with moisture, they will become watery. Do I need to clean champignons? It is enough to rinse small mushrooms well; it is better to clean larger ones by removing the films from the caps. Also cut off any darkened sections on the stems. Cut the mushrooms into quarters or thin slices.

Heat vegetable oil with a high smoking point in a frying pan. Fry the champignons, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes, until the liquid has evaporated.
