Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with shrimp, squid and red caviar? Prepare your food. You can use squids already peeled, without skin or with skin. If you use unpeeled squid, you must first remove the skin and remove the insides. Be sure to remove the chitinous plates.

Step 2

Step 2
Boil the squid. How to boil squid? Boil water in a saucepan and place the prepared squid carcasses into boiling water. Boil them for two minutes after boiling again. Do not cook longer, they will become hard, rubbery and tasteless. Drain the water and set the meat aside to cool.

Step 3

Step 3
Thaw the shrimp first and remove the intestine, which looks like a dark green tube running along the entire back of the shrimp. Mine were immediately cleared. But if it is not removed by the manufacturer, then you need to lightly cut the shrimp along the back and be sure to remove the intestine.

Step 4

Step 4
Boil the shrimp. How to boil shrimp? Place them in salted boiling water with a bay leaf and cook for two minutes after boiling again. Just like squid, shrimp become rubbery when cooked for too long. Drain the water and remove the bay leaf.

Step 5

Step 5
Chop the cooled squid carcasses into medium-sized strips.

Step 6

Step 6
The last step is to assemble the salad in portioned salad bowls, mixing shrimp, squid and red caviar. Add salt to taste, if necessary, and season with a drop of mayonnaise. Homemade mayonnaise is perfect here. Garnish the salad with fresh parsley. The salad is ready to serve. Bon appetit!
