Quick Shrimp Cocktail Salad: A 15-Minute Gourmet Delight
Easy win-win cocktail salad with shrimp in 15 minutes. This is my “signature” recipe for cases when guests unexpectedly come and you need to feed them something — quite urgently and satisfyingly. In such situations, I make a side dish of creamed mashed potatoes or boil rice, and while the side dish is cooking, I whip up a salad that can be served on a plate, in a glass, or directly in vegetables (peppers, tomatoes). Guests who see it for the first time usually have a WOW effect (Wow! :))) By the way, the lemon here is not just for decoration: you can offer the guest to squeeze it directly into a salad cocktail if the guest likes a sour taste in food. Don’t worry, it won’t be too sour, since bell pepper allows you to balance the acid with sweetness, and when the light peppery saltiness of the fried shrimp is added to this game of tastes, a real feast of flavors happens in your mouth.
