Birch-Themed Chicken and Prune Salad

Delicious layered salad decorated with birch. Interestingly decorated salads always become the main dish of the holiday table. They attract attention and the desire to try this salad increases. How to make Birch Salad with prunes? Prepare the following ingredients. Boiled breast fillet. The champignons are fresh, but can be replaced with canned ones. Boil the eggs until cooked and cool.

Steam the prunes and chop finely. Rinse the mushrooms well and fry with onions until tender, leaving and also frying two of them whole (for decoration). Finely chop the breast fillet. Wash the cucumbers and grate them on a coarse grater. Peel the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks, chop the whites, and leave the yolks whole for now (they will go to the very top layer).

Choose a suitable dish for the salad: it can be a different shaped dish, deep or flat — whatever you want. I took a rectangular shallow plate. The first layer is chopped prunes. Lightly grease with mayonnaise.

The second layer is chopped chicken fillet. Spread a little mayonnaise.

On top of the fillet there is a layer of fried mushrooms and onions. Spread a little mayonnaise.

Then a layer of grated fresh cucumbers. Here, coat well with mayonnaise.

Grate the egg yolks on a fine grater, evenly covering the entire surface of the salad.

Now letʼs decorate the salad. Make a tree trunk with mayonnaise. You can make two or more thinner branches — all as desired. At the foot of the trunk, make a clearing with mushrooms — lay out parsley leaves, dill and fried champignon halves.
