How to make a salad with smoked cheese and cucumber? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking. It is not necessary to dress the salad with mayonnaise; you can mix mayonnaise with sour cream in equal proportions or make a dressing from yogurt. A vegetable oil-based dressing is also suitable. You can make your own mayonnaise. Recipes for homemade mayonnaise are at the end of the recipe under the steps

Pre-cook the chicken in boiling salted water for about 25 minutes until done. Cool the finished fillet and cut into medium pieces.

Cut the smoked cheese into medium cubes. You can replace the sausage cheese with another smoked cheese, for example, chechil. Read more about replacing cheeses in the article at the end of the recipe.

Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into strips. To make the salad bright and beautiful, it is better to take multi-colored bell peppers.

Wash the cucumbers and cut into thin slices. If the cucumbers have too hard skin, it is better to peel it. The same applies to seeds: in large overripe cucumbers, the seeds can be hard, so it’s better to get rid of them too.

Peel the red onion and cut into thin rings or half rings. If you wish, you can marinate the onions in vinegar and sugar.

Rinse the parsley, shake off moisture and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, dill, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.

In a salad bowl, combine boiled chicken, cucumbers, bell peppers, smoked cheese, onions and herbs. Season the salad with smoked cheese and fresh cucumber with salt, pepper, mayonnaise and mix. If you wish, you can serve mayonnaise separately in a gravy boat. Bon appetit!
