Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Chinese cabbage salad with smoked chicken? Prepare your food. Choose cabbage with a tight fork, with whole elastic leaves. You can take any smoked chicken — leg, drumstick, chicken breast, I take chicken leg. Pre-boil the eggs until tender and cool in cold water. Choose high-quality cheese, without vegetable fats, with a neutral taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the Chinese cabbage under running cold water and dry well to remove excess moisture. Cut the cabbage into small pieces and place in a deep bowl or salad bowl. The salad can also be prepared in portions in layers using a serving ring.

Step 3

Step 3
Remove skin from smoked chicken and trim meat from bones. Cut the chicken into small cubes and add to the salad bowl with the cabbage.

Step 4

Step 4
Remove the selected cheese from the package and cut into small cubes. The salad will look beautiful and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes). That’s why I make all the cuts, except cabbage, in this shape. Add the sliced cheese to the previously prepared ingredients.

Step 5

Step 5
Remove the pickles from the jar, rinse and wipe off the brine. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes and add to the salad. Try to choose firm, non-watery cucumbers with a pleasant taste.

Step 6

Step 6
Peel pre-boiled and cooled eggs and cut into small cubes. Add chopped eggs to salad bowl.

Step 7

Step 7
Rinse fresh onions under running cold water, then dry thoroughly with paper towels. Chop the green onions with a sharp knife and add to the salad.

Step 8

Step 8
Season the salad with mayonnaise (you can also use a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream). Add salt to taste, as the salad will contain quite salty chicken, cucumbers and mayonnaise.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the finished salad chilled. It can serve as a cold appetizer or a separate dish. The salad is tasty and harmonious; you can serve it with potato dishes — boiled, mashed, baked.
