How to make a salad with croutons and tomatoes? Prepare all the necessary products. Take meaty tomatoes. Of course, it is best to use seasonal tomatoes. But now, even in the off-season, you can easily find good quality vegetables in stores. When choosing tomatoes, focus on the smell: real tomatoes should smell like tomatoes. Take any cheese. All types of hard and semi-hard cheese are suitable, including mozzarella and even blue cheese.

First, letʼs prepare the crackers. It seemed to me that croutons made from white bread would be more suitable for this salad, but croutons from any other bread can be prepared in the same way. Cut the bread into small cubes. I cut it this way because I make croutons for salad and they shouldn’t be large. For ordinary crackers, the cut can be any, much larger.

Pour 2 tbsp into the pan. oil and fry the crackers on all sides until crispy and golden brown.

Place the crackers in a separate bowl and salt them. You can also pepper or add some seasonings.

In the same frying pan, heat the remaining oil, add chopped 1 clove of garlic. I put it through a press, but you can also grate it or chop it with a knife.

Fry the garlic for literally 20-30 seconds. Carefully! Garlic burns very quickly!

Pour the oil and garlic over the croutons and mix them. Delicious crackers are ready!

Now we prepare the salad directly. Wash the tomatoes well. It is best to use a special brush and vegetable washing product. Remove the stem from the tomatoes and cut into thin slices. In principle, how you cut the tomatoes does not matter. Therefore, you can cut them into cubes and circles.

Add chopped garlic clove to the tomatoes.

Grate the cheese and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Season the salad with sour cream. Junk food lovers, of course, can use mayonnaise. Check for salt and add more salt if necessary.
