Carrot 1 pc
Mayonnaise 5 tbsp
Prunes 75 g

How to make a salad with smoked chicken, prunes and walnuts? Prepare your food. Any part of the chicken is suitable — breast, thighs or drumsticks, like mine. Take pitted prunes. Pre-boil potatoes, carrots and eggs and cool. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use sour cream.

How to cook vegetables for salad? Wash the tubers well with a brush under running water and place them in a saucepan. Fill with clean cold water and cook over medium heat. After boiling, cook the potatoes and carrots for about 30 minutes. The exact time will depend on the size of the vegetables. Check readiness with a knife — it should easily pierce the fruit. Cool the boiled vegetables and peel them. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater.

Place the potatoes in the first layer on a plate using a pastry ring and press lightly. Lubricate the layer with mayonnaise. Remove the meat from the bones and cut it into small cubes. Place the chicken in the next layer. Rinse and dry the prunes. If it is hard, soak it briefly in hot water. My prunes are soft. Also cut the prunes into small pieces. Spread it over the chicken. Spread mayonnaise on top of these two layers.

Grate the hard-boiled eggs on a coarse grater. Lay out the next layer, also tamp lightly. Brush a layer of eggs with mayonnaise.

Also grate the carrots on a coarse grater and place them on the eggs. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

Grate the cheese, but on a medium grater — this will make the salad more tender. Place the grated cheese in a ring on top of all the others. There is no need to grease the cheese layer anymore.

Finely chop the walnuts with a knife. Sprinkle the salad with chopped nuts. Place it in the refrigerator to soak for two hours.
