Nowadays this salad recipe is the most common. Some people prefer to grate the ingredients, but this is more like a spread than a salad. For beauty, I cut everything into small cubes. The dressing is introduced at the last moment; it can be made not only with mayonnaise, but also with a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream or sour cream alone; oil-mustard dressing is also good. Serve this salad as an appetizer before the main course, garnished with herbs.

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Apples 2 pc
Green onions 20 g
Hard cheese 200 g
Mushrooms (salty) 200 g
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp

To prepare the salad, take salted mushrooms (by the way, pickled mushrooms are also suitable), in this case we used salted butter mushrooms. Add an apple, preferably sweet, green onions and any hard cheese, I used Parmesan. Good mayonnaise is used as a classic dressing (do not use mayonnaise in plastic packaging).

My apple was freshly harvested without any covering, so I didn’t peel the skin. If you have apples treated with paraffin components, be sure to peel the skin. Cut the apple into quarters, remove the core and cut into small slices or cubes.

If necessary, rinse the salted mushrooms, place in a sieve, and let the water drain. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices, unless you initially chose small mushrooms such as honey mushrooms or small champignons. They can be cut into halves or left whole.

Finely chop the peeled and washed green onions.

Cut the cheese into small cubes too.

Place all ingredients in a bowl, add mayonnaise, black pepper to taste and stir.

Serve the salad with mushrooms and cheese, garnished with herbs, in portioned salad bowls or in general. You can also add a hard-boiled egg to this salad.
