Making such a decoration is much easier and faster than it seems at first glance. The main thing is that to make the petals more beautiful, you need to use tomato rings before the cavities with seeds begin. Then it will look more like real petals.

Tomatoes 150 g

How to make Red poppies salad with chicken? Prepare your ingredients. To prepare the salad we will need: chicken fillet (boil and cool first), tomatoes, champignons, pitted olives, dill, cheese, vegetable oil for frying mushrooms, ground black pepper, salt and mayonnaise.

First boil the chicken fillet in salted water until cooked. Remove the meat from the broth, cool and cut into small cubes.

Wash the champignons, dry and cut into slices.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the champignons over high heat until golden brown. Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper and remove the pan from the heat. Cool the champignons.

Remove the olives from the brine, dry and cut into rings.

Wash the tomatoes and dry them. Since I didnʼt have cherry tomatoes to decorate, I cut the rings I needed for the petals from the back of medium-sized tomatoes. You need the whole part without seeds.

Place the chicken fillet in one layer on a flat dish and coat it with mayonnaise. It is better to make a thin mesh.

Cut the cherry tomatoes into not very thick slices. It is advisable to use only whole parts without seeds for decoration. Finely chop part of the dill, leaving 1-2 sprigs whole.

Sprinkle the entire circumference of the bottom edge of the salad with chopped dill. In the center of the salad, form poppy petals from tomato slices. Place an olive in the center of each flower. Sprinkle poppy seeds around the olives. Make leaves from whole dill sprigs. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 2 hours to soak. Bon appetit!
