Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make beet and carrot salad? Letʼs prepare the ingredients according to the list. The salad, of course, will turn out much tastier than fresh and juicy vegetables, especially if they have just been picked from the garden. Wash the beets, remove the skin with a knife or vegetable peeler, grate the pulp on a grater for Korean salads; if you don’t have one, a regular grater will do.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the carrots, peel and grate them in the same way (using a Korean or regular grater). Hard cheese can be used of any type, but it is better without any pronounced flavoring additives, and it must be fresh and natural. Grate hard cheese. I also love using soft cheeses, especially goat cheese.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the cloves of garlic (the amount of garlic in the dish can be changed to taste) from the membranes and grate on a fine grater or pass through a press. Place the prepared ingredients in a deep salad bowl, add salt to taste and ground black pepper.

Step 4

Step 4
We add the amount of salt taking into account what product we use for dressing. If it’s mayonnaise, then you don’t have to add salt at all or add it in a minimal amount, because it’s quite salty. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use sour cream to make the salad less high in calories and more healthy. Mix the ingredients with the dressing and put the salad in the refrigerator for half an hour so that it is well soaked.

Step 5

Step 5
Salad ready. We serve it to the table in a large salad bowl or arrange it in small portioned salad bowls. This salad can also be stuffed into tartlets or used as a spread on bread and served as an appetizer with soup or main course. This salad, with its juiciness and spicy notes, will perfectly complement a side dish of mashed potatoes, cereals and vegetables, hot meat, and will make the taste of the meal richer and brighter. Bon appetit!
