How to make a salad with oyster mushrooms? Prepare your food. Instead of Chinese cabbage, you can use regular white cabbage, but with Chinese cabbage the salad will be more tender. Various head lettuces, such as iceberg, not leaf lettuce, are also suitable.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings of medium thickness. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over moderate heat. Add chopped onion. Stirring with a spatula, fry the onion until soft and slightly golden.

Wash the oyster mushrooms. Do not wet the mushrooms too much; they will absorb water and become watery. It is better to wipe them with a damp sponge. Cut off the dense part of the mushrooms at the base, and cut the mushrooms themselves into strips of medium thickness. Add chopped mushrooms to the frying pan with the onions.

Stirring occasionally, fry the oyster mushrooms with onions until the mushrooms are soft. All released mushroom juice should evaporate completely. Remove the prepared mushrooms and onions from the heat and cool to room temperature.

Chop the Chinese cabbage thinly and place in a large bowl.

Wash the fresh cucumber, cut into thin strips and add to the cabbage. Be sure to taste the cucumber before slicing to see if it is bitter.

Add the cooled oyster mushrooms fried with onions to the bowl with the salad. Fry the sesame seeds a little in a dry frying pan until golden brown, cool and add to the salad.
