Creamy Chicken Breast Nut Pate

Delicate, homemade, very tasty! Simple and fast. Chicken breast pate is a very tasty and easy quick appetizer. It turns out creamy due to the addition of butter, with a slight nutty note thanks to the nuts. Made from natural products, it will replace sausages and store-bought pates.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chicken breast pate? Prepare your food. I used bone-in chicken breast, you can use chicken fillet. After cooking, there will be broth left, I think that it will turn out tastier from the breast.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the meat under cold water. I removed the skin from it, there is nothing useful in it. Place the meat in a saucepan and cover with cold, clean water. Use good quality water, the taste of the dish will depend on its taste. Peel two onions and place them whole, without cutting them, with the chicken. Add peeled and cut into pieces carrots and garlic cloves.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the chicken to simmer over low heat. Wait until it boils, skim off the foam. Cook the breast for 30-40 minutes, depending on the size. Salt the broth.

Step 4

Step 4
While the chicken is boiling, melt the butter. This can be done in different ways — in the microwave, in a water bath, or simply on the stove in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the remaining onions and cut into small cubes.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add onion. Stirring, fry the onion over low heat until transparent.

Step 7

Step 7
Separate the finished meat from the bones and cut into pieces. Place the meat and vegetables it was cooked with in a blender jar. I only took carrots, did not use onions and garlic. Grind meat with vegetables.

Step 8

Step 8
Add the fried onions, melted butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Pour in about 100 ml chicken broth.

Step 9

Step 9
Add peeled walnuts.

Step 10

Step 10
Beat all ingredients until it forms a pate. If the pate is a little dry, add a little more broth. Taste it for salt and add more if necessary. Transfer the pate into small jars and refrigerate for an hour.
