Eggs (for brushing dough) 1 pc
Puff pastry (ready-made, yeast-free) 450 g
Greenery to taste
Lemons 1 pc
red fish (lightly salted) 150 g
Cream cheese 150 g

How to make a puff pastry appetizer with red fish? Prepare your food. Defrost the dough first. To make this happen as delicately as possible, place it on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Any red fish will do, I used trout.

Place the dough on a table dusted with flour and roll it into a square layer about 3 mm thick. Cut it into squares with a side of 6-8 cm. Depending on their size, you will get large or small boats.

Fold each square in half and bring the short edges together, pressing them firmly with a fork. Unroll the dough to form a boat. Additionally, pinch the fastened edges with your hands so that the boats do not fall apart.

Place the resulting preparations on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Beat the egg with a fork and brush the boats with it using a pastry brush.

Bake the pieces in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven.

Transfer the boats to a wire rack to cool.

Place the cream cheese in a piping bag or regular bag with the tip cut off. Lightly press the middle of the boats inward with a spoon. Fill the dough with cheese from the bag.

Cut the lemon slices into triangles. And pieces of fish — into thin long strips.

Roll the fish strips into spirals and place them in boats, pressing them into the cheese. Place a slice of lemon on the side and insert a leaf of greenery.
