Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a pan-fried burrito? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can buy ready-made tortillas, or you can bake them yourself. Carefully look at the expiration date and make sure that the packaging is intact, otherwise the tortillas may dry out and it will be difficult to wrap them. Choose cheese that melts well.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the chicken fillet into thinner pieces. The thinner they are, the faster the fillet will be ready. Boil the fillet for 15 minutes after boiling. Cool a little.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel and rinse the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into thin half rings. This way it will cook quickly and retain its shape. Cut the garlic across the cloves into thin slices. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems. If the tomatoes have tough skins (as winter tomatoes usually do), remove them. Cut them into small cubes to help them cook faster.

Step 4

Step 4
Heat a frying pan and carefully pour vegetable oil into it. Fry the onion and garlic, stirring occasionally, over high heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Add tomatoes and 3 tablespoons bean sauce to the pan. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
Cut the chicken into small cubes and place in a frying pan. Drain the remaining sauce from the beans; it will no longer be needed. Drain the corn too. Add beans and corn to the pan.

Step 7

Step 7
Wash and chop the greens. Salt and add spices to taste. Add chopped herbs and, after mixing well, remove from heat.

Step 8

Step 8
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. This will ensure it melts well and wonʼt fall apart when rolling the burrito.

Step 9

Step 9
Heat the tortilla a little in a frying pan to soften it. Place a quarter of the filling and cheese on it.

Step 10

Step 10
Roll the tortilla, tucking the edges. Brush the resulting burrito with vegetable oil on both sides.

Step 11

Step 11
Transfer the burrito to a dry skillet and heat over low-medium heat for about 5 minutes on both sides. If the filling has cooled completely, it will take longer.
