Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake homemade boiled beef in foil? Very simple and easy. Start with the marinade. If you wish, in addition to the indicated ingredients, you can add a little vegetable oil, grain or Dijon mustard, and a mixture of spices for boiled pork (or for beef) to the marinade.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the garlic cloves and pass through a press. If desired, you can replace fresh garlic with 1-2 tbsp. l. dry garlic.

Step 3

Step 3
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, garlic, paprika, sugar, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything well.

Step 5

Step 5
Now prepare the meat. You need about 1 kg of beef in one piece and a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary. It is better to choose beef that is not very fatty. A piece of hip meat is ideal.

Step 6

Step 6
Wash the beef, pat dry with paper towels and place in a bowl. If your meat is not a tight block like mine, then tie it with twine or cooking thread to give it a more compact appearance.

Step 7

Step 7
Rub the meat thoroughly with the garlic marinade and place in the refrigerator to marinate for 5-8 hours. In this case, it is advisable to cover the bowl with film so that the beef does not dry out and periodically turn the meat so that it marinates evenly.

Step 8

Step 8
Remove the beef from the refrigerator and place on several layers of foil. Place rosemary sprigs on the sides.

Step 9

Step 9
Then wrap the meat carefully and tightly, lifting the edges of the foil up so that the meat juice does not leak out.

Step 10

Step 10
Transfer the meat in foil to a baking sheet. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Then place the meat in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 1.5 hours. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven. Do not remove the finished boiled pork immediately, but leave it in the cooling oven for another 1 hour so that the juices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Step 11

Step 11
Remove the meat from the oven and unwrap the foil. Transfer the boiled pork to a plate and cut into pieces. Homemade boiled beef is ready! Can be served with any side dish hot or cold. Bon appetit!
