Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How is fish stew prepared? Gather the necessary ingredients for cooking. You can take any fish. To obtain fillets, I cleaned 3 medium pollock carcasses. It is convenient to use ready-made fish fillets.

Step 2

Step 2
First prepare the mushroom filling. If you use fresh wild mushrooms, they must first be boiled in salted water. You can take champignons as the most versatile option. Place washed and peeled champignons on a kitchen towel to absorb excess liquid. Leave for 15-20 minutes so that all the moisture is absorbed into the fabric. It is important to dry the mushrooms well, otherwise, once saturated with moisture, they will become watery.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.

Step 4

Step 4
In a frying pan, fry the mushrooms and onions over medium heat until tender, stirring occasionally. Salt the mushrooms during cooking.

Step 5

Step 5
Pass the fish fillet through a meat grinder. In this case, it is better not to use a blender, as the minced meat will be more viscous. This will not be very convenient when forming a body.

Step 6

Step 6
Beat the egg into the minced fish, add flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything well.

Step 7

Step 7
Place a portion of minced meat on the breadcrumbs in the form of a flat cake.

Step 8

Step 8
Place about a tablespoon of filling on one half.

Step 9

Step 9
Cover the filling with the second half of the minced meat cake. Seal the edges, form the body in the form of a crescent.

Step 10

Step 10
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the vegetable over medium heat until golden brown.

Step 11

Step 11
Turn the body over to the other side and fry in the same way.

Step 12

Step 12
I additionally finished cooking it in an oven preheated to 180C for 10-15 minutes. You can skip this step by increasing the frying time in the pan.

Step 13

Step 13
Serve hot with any side dish or fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
