Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make liver cake with carrots and onions from chicken liver in layers? Prepare all the necessary products. You can take any liver. I made it with chicken. Use full-fat sour cream. I have 20%. You can make your own mayonnaise. You will find recipes for homemade mayonnaise after the last step. Boil three eggs in advance to decorate the cake.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the liver well, remove the film. Transfer the prepared liver to a blender bowl or other suitable container.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat three raw eggs into the liver.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sour cream.

Step 5

Step 5
Add flour.

Step 6

Step 6
Beat everything thoroughly with a blender.

Step 7

Step 7
Peel the onion, rinse with cool water so that it does not sting your eyes when slicing, and cut into cubes.

Step 8

Step 8
The carrots also need to be washed, peeled and grated on a coarse grater.

Step 9

Step 9
Peel the garlic, chop finely and add to mayonnaise.

Step 10

Step 10
Pour vegetable oil and a portion of liver mass into a preheated frying pan to bake one cake. My cake was made from 10 pancakes. Frying pan with a diameter of 20 cm. You count on the size of your dishes.

Step 11

Step 11
After 1-2 minutes the pancake will set and take on a brownish-beige hue. Gently pry it up with a spatula and turn it over. Fry it the same amount on the other side.

Step 12

Step 12
Add one tablespoon of vegetable oil to a heated frying pan. Add the onions and carrots, stir-fry them until tender over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil for frying, in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.

Step 13

Step 13
Place the fried vegetables on a plate. Divide the frying into so many parts that each pancake, except the top one, is evenly covered with it. I got 10 cakes, so I divided the vegetable mass into 9 parts.

Step 14

Step 14
Spread one cake layer with garlic mayonnaise and place some of the fried vegetables on top. Do these manipulations with each cake layer while assembling the cake.

Step 15

Step 15
Peel the boiled eggs from their shells. Separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a fine grater. We will decorate the side of the liver cake with whites.

Step 16

Step 16
Do the same with the yolks. Decorate the top of the cake with them.

Step 17

Step 17
You can decorate the top as you wish. I made a rose from boiled small carrots and laid it out with small sprigs of parsley. The cake is ready. Bon appetit!
