Basic:

Onion 180 g
Garlic to taste
Salt to taste
Sugar 2 tsp
Water 50 ml
Tomato paste 70 g
Carrot 400 g
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Dry spices to taste
Vinegar 2 tsp

How to make marinade from carrots and onions? Prepare the necessary ingredients and products. Tomato paste can be replaced with fresh tomatoes. Use 9% vinegar. Choose spices to taste.

Peel the onions, rinse under running cold water so that they do not sting your eyes, chop as desired and lightly fry in vegetable oil until soft.

Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater, add to the onion and simmer until the carrots are soft over medium heat, periodically stirring the carrots and onions with a spatula.

Then carefully transfer the carrot and onion mixture into a pan of suitable volume, pour in water, add tomato paste, salt, granulated sugar, spices to taste and stir. Simmer the marinade over low heat for an hour.
