Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a snack with tomatoes and cheese? We will prepare the first version of the tomato appetizer with dill and green onions. To do this, prepare the necessary ingredients.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into slices. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the bell pepper into very small cubes.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the garlic and pass through a press or grate on a fine grater.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the dill and green onions, dry and finely chop. Leave a little dill for decoration.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the cream cheese in a bowl and mash with a fork. If your cheese is very dense and you want to make it softer, add 1-2 tbsp. l. fat sour cream and mix.

Step 7

Step 7
Add herbs, garlic, suneli hops and a mixture of ground peppers to the curd cheese.

Step 8

Step 8
Mix everything thoroughly with a fork until smooth.

Step 9

Step 9
Transfer the resulting curd filling into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip. Using a pastry bag, squeeze out the curd filling onto each tomato ring.

Step 10

Step 10
To make the appetizer look beautiful, place the tomatoes on lettuce leaves. Sprinkle chopped bell pepper and remaining dill on top.

Step 11

Step 11
Now letʼs move on to the second version of this snack. Basil can be used with large leaves or in the form of small branched bushes with small leaves. I used one type of basil for filling and another for decoration.

Step 12

Step 12
Also wash the tomatoes, dry them and cut them into slices.

Step 13

Step 13
Wash the basil and dry. Remove the leaves from the branches.

Step 14

Step 14
Peel the garlic clove and cut into several pieces.

Step 15

Step 15
Place the prepared basil leaves, garlic and sea salt into a blender bowl.

Step 16

Step 16
Beat everything to the desired consistency. I beat briefly so that the leaves do not grind into a homogeneous puree.

Step 17

Step 17
Place the cream cheese in a bowl and mash with a fork. If desired, also dilute with sour cream.

Step 18

Step 18
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and basil mixture.

Step 19

Step 19
Mix everything thoroughly. Unlike the first option, the curd cheese will turn pale green from the juice released when chopping the greens in a blender.

Step 20

Step 20
In the same way, transfer the curd filling into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip. If you wish, you can use a regular teaspoon to apply the filling to the tomatoes in both cases.

Step 21

Step 21
Place tomato slices on a plate. Spread the curd filling with basil on top from a pastry bag.

Step 22

Step 22
Top the appetizer with basil sprigs. You can serve both appetizers separately or combine them on one dish. Bon appetit!
