Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake soft and juicy beef in a sleeve as a whole piece in the oven? Prepare the following ingredients. You can use the marinade for baking beef in the sleeve to suit your taste. I choose a marinade made from sour cream and mustard beans. I add garlic for flavor. Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Choose beef with layers of fat for juiciness. Rinse the fillets under running water and dry with paper towels. Fresh, chilled meat is best, but if you bought frozen, defrost it slowly by moving it from the freezer to the refrigerator. Read about all the intricacies of proper defrosting in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 3

Step 3
For the marinade, mix sour cream with mustard in a small container, add salt and pepper (I added a mixture of peppers). Cut the garlic lengthwise into halves or quarters. Sour cream can be replaced with heavy cream or natural thick yogurt without additives.

Step 4

Step 4
Make cuts in the meat over the entire area with a knife and insert the garlic into them.

Step 5

Step 5
Place a piece of beef with garlic in a baking sleeve and brush evenly with marinade. Secure the ends of the sleeves with the supplied clips and leave to marinate for at least an hour. Half an hour before cooking, turn on the oven to 180 degrees. Before baking, gently shake the sleeve with the meat. Bake the meat for about 2 hours, periodically turning the sleeve with the meat. The exact time depends on your oven. Read more about this at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
Cooked beef should be soft and easy to pierce with a knife. Remove the meat from the oven, let it cool slightly, transfer to a cutting board and thinly slice into portions. Place the beef on a plate, garnishing with herbs if desired. You can serve vegetables, pasta, and rice as a side dish. Bon appetit!
