How to make quick pickled cabbage with beets and garlic? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Clean the head of cabbage from the top dirty and dry leaves. Cut out the stalk, cut the head of cabbage into several large pieces of such a size that they fit into a three-liter jar or other container where the cabbage will be pickled. Do not use containers made of oxidizing materials for pickling.

Wash the beets, peel and cut into thin slices or small cubes, as you prefer. After preparing the appetizer and marinating the cabbage, the beets can also be served along with the cabbage; they also turn out delicious. And thanks to beets, cabbage also acquires a bright and beautiful color.

Peel the garlic cloves and cut into large pieces or slices. Dill seed will give cabbage a special aroma; it can be collected in the fall from an overgrown dill plot or purchased at a pharmacy or store.

To ensure that the cabbage acquires a pleasant natural sweetness after pickling, carrots are added to the ingredients. Wash the carrots, peel and cut into circles. Place all vegetables in a jar.

You can start preparing the marinade. Pour clean filtered water into the pan, add sugar, salt, peppercorns, dill seeds, bay leaf. Bring the marinade to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan with the marinade from the heat. Pour in vinegar and stir.

Pour the boiling marinade over the vegetables in the jar so that it completely covers the contents of the jar. Place a lid on top of the jar, but do not close it tightly.

Leave the cabbage to marinate at room temperature for a day. After the specified time, remove the white cabbage in the marinade to the refrigerator for storage. This snack cannot be stored for a long time, preferably no more than two days.
